Associations between the quality of life in sarcopenia measured with the SarQoL® and nutritional status

Abstract Background The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between nutritional status and health-related quality life after adjusting for essential factors muscle mass, calf circumference, grip strength, timed up go (TUG) test diagnosis sarcopenia. Methods subjects were those who visited a health care center or senior welfare among aged 65 years older living in community two counties (Jinju, Sacheon), survey conducted from April August 2019. Significant correlations found all seven domains SarQoL, except fear domain. Conclusions This confirms an dimensions surveyed by subjects.
